Neal Kendall is an Emmy-winning executive producer and writer with a broad range of television experience in news, politics, sports, comedy, music and live events - including his role as Executive Producer of two primetime Presidential debates.
He currently serves as Executive Producer on the PBS series “Love & Respect w/ Killer Mike” and is the founder and President of the Georgia-based production company, Piedmont Studios.
His news/talk show credits include CNN’s LARRY KING LIVE, PBS’s TAVIS SMILEY, ABC’s THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW, CBS’s THE LATE LATE SHOW, NBC’s LATER, NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER and ARSENIO HALL.
Kendall’s live music/variety specials include THE Library of Congress GERSHWIN PRIZE FOR POPULAR SONG, The Recording Academy’s MUSICARES PERSON OF THE YEAR and THE WHITE HOUSE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING.
In 2022, he joined forces with Emilio Estefan to produce the opening ceremony of THE SUMMIT OF THE AMERICAS – the hemispheric gathering of world leaders in Los Angeles.
In 2024, Kendall begins his role as Executive Producer of a new awards event/broadcast for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
During his tenure at PBS, Kendall has also earned four NAACP Image Awards.
